Being an online student

To be honest with you I get mixed feelings at times about being an online student. At times I enjoy it and other times I am not to fond of it. I enjoy it because it allows me to continue to work full-time, take care of my children, household, and lets me be on my own schedule. I have a non stop busy life and job, so I am not able to commit to an on site campus, and that is why I choose to go online. The only time I do not like online class is when I am having a hard time with a certain assignment and I am unable to just go to my professor and just sit down face to face and have them explain it to me. Other then that I am so grateful that going to college online is available for my family and me.

  1. I am glad that I am not the only one to have mixed feelings about being an online student. For me, I wouldn't trade the flexibility of my schedule for a traditional college. I find the hardest part, to be when someone questions the legitimacy of online schools. I know that when I have questions about different assignments, I can bounce ideas back and forth with other classmates on FB. It has really seemed to help. Maybe that could help ease some of your frustrations :)
